Worcester community garden sits on the edge of Pitchcroft, Worcester racecourse, 500 metres from the Pump House car park at the end of Waterworks Road. Just look for the green gates and our Worcester community garden ‘A’ board.

Our site produces fruit, vegetables and flowers, all grown in line with organic, no-dig principles, and the garden is run entirely by volunteers.
Each month a ‘jobs board’ on site shows the live list of tasks that need doing – this is November’s list. There is always lighter or heavier work, skilled and unskilled jobs to be done.
Our volunteers and supporters have told us that among the things they liked most about the community garden are the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, feeling valued, the sense of community, being able to come and go as they like without pressure, sharing ideas, meeting new people, everyone on site being approachable, being a part of something they believe in and the dedication to teaching.
Why not make this the year you come and join this wonderful community project? We promise you a warm and friendly welcome! If you’re interested in volunteering with us or want to find out more, please drop in to see us. We’ll give you a tour of the site, introduce you to our other volunteers and talk about how you can become part of this wonderful community project.
