And so we celebrate another Summer gone by, and with it another Eco Fair! Though the weather was not ideal, 358 visitors braved the showers and joined us on Sunday August 25th for a wonderful day of good company.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our volunteers who made sure the gardens were spick and span running up to the event, and helped ensure success on the day. Bob F, Karin, Jon and Steve assisted in the setting up and taking down on the day. Joe, Patrick, Carlie, Evelyn, Sara, and Deb ran a pop-up garden café with the help of others that proved to be a big hit. Gill, Clare, Clancy, Jane and others manned the garden sales kiosk and brought in lots of sales on the day. We’d also like to shout out Pat, who created some beautiful posies on the day, capturing the interest and attention of many of our visitors!

We’d also like to extend our thanks and gratitude to all our stallholders for their wonderful work on the day, epecially considering the not so sunny weather! A big thank you also to Noel of Dutty Vegan who provided our visitors with some delicious vegan food on the day at short notice.

We look forward to what is to come this Autumn, and to many hopeful Eco Fairs to come!
