Cathryn first got involved with Worcester Community Garden in 2024, and became a Trustee in 2026. With a background in art and craft, Cathryn has a very particular and valuable set of skills to bring to the Garden, both as a hands-on volunteer and a Trustee.
Cathryn enjoys meeting a wide variety of interesting people through working at the garden, and recommends that potential volunteers try visiting on different days of the week, so as to meet the widest range of people and get a real feel for it. When away from the garden, she has a broad range of other interests, including continuing with her art and craft projects, singing in a choir, sewing and visiting ancient churches.
