Work onsite began in earnest in the last week of November 2025, but of course the planning began some time before that. Some of the design ideas for this garden are set out below.
This is the ‘before’ picture of the area that was cleared for this garden.
Following tree remedial work on Pitchcroft, the Council donated some tree stumps and other waste material to the site. Work has started on creating a dead hedge to make a natural boundary for this garden area.
In December, a group of our volunteers enjoyed a sunny morning making hurdles for the new garden.
