Dried flower wreath-making workshop

On the last Sunday in October, our final workshop of the year took place in the warmth of the polytunnel. The workshop was led by Eileen, who first demonstrated various techniques and options, before the attendees chose from the wide variety of dried plant material available.

This year’s hot, dry summer provided the perfect opportunity to gather and store a fantastic range of flowers and foliage for the workshop.

Our participants were very creative and all succeeded in producing beautiful wreaths in the space of about 2 hours. Here they are in the process…

And below are the fantastic creations they finished up with!

Very many thanks to Eileen for running the workshop, to Lea and Gill for their help, and to all the participants for their hard work and enthusiasm!
