At the community garden we currently have the following volunteer vacancies:

Site Supervisor:
Main Job description:

• To open, close and take responsibility for the supervision of volunteers and visitors on site for designated days or part days.

We are especially looking for someone to take on this role during the weekend, otherwise we might not be able to open.

Small Garden Champion:
Main job description:

• To take responsibility for the development, maintenance and promotion of a named small demonstration garden.

Trustee:
Main Job description:

• Provide leadership, inspiration and support to volunteers and fellow trustees, contribute to the setting of the overall strategy and direction of the organisation.
• Contribute to the development of the organisation by providing skills* energy and enthusiasm, setting goals and targets and evaluating them.
• Create the conditions for volunteers to relax get involved and grow in line with the values of the community garden.
• Strive to maintain and develop the organisation’s resources (human, financial and physical) ensuring financial control, and that we do not spend money on things that are not in line with our objects.
