Field to Vase – Make your own posey
June 24 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
£10Join us for a delightful session at the “Field to Vase – Make your own posey” event at the Worcester community garden, using flowers grown on-site. These are zero carbon, peat-free, chemical-free, locally grown British blooms. This workshop is about learning about what we can grow locally throughout the season to reduce our carbon footprints, as well as cutting, conditioning & creating lovely posies for your home or friends. The focus will be on cut-and-come again annuals (both hardy and half-hardy), as due to our now all-too-regular flooding from River Severn, we are limited in the perennials we can grow. No experience needed in either gardening or floristry and all materials will be provided.
There is a nominal fee of £10 per person. Please feel free to bring your own lunch if desired. The Community Garden is located at W3W:///nature.torch.grant
