Eco Fair 2025 a great success!

We were delighted to welcome nearly 400 visitors to our annual Eco Fair on 24th August, a wonderful opportunity to socialise and find out more about the Worcester Community Garden on a glorious sunny late summer day.

Alongside site tours and plant and produce sales, there were stalls run by our parent organisation Transition Worcester, the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, RSPB and more. Great food and drink was also on offer and everyone enjoyed the fresh air and relaxed atmosphere.

Huge thanks go to all our stall holders and volunteers for their help and support on the day and in the planning for the event.

Another successful workshop – Make your own posy!

We had an enthusiastic group of attendees on 20 August for our latest ‘Field to vase – make your own posy’ workshop.

Despite the long, dry spring and summer, there were sufficient flowers still in our cut flower beds, and these were supplemented with greenery and hedgerow plants.

Thank you to volunteer Eileen for running the workshop, and to Gill and Bob for helping.

If this leaves you feeling inspired, why not check out our future events – ‘Create an Autumnal dried flower wreath’ on October 26th (tickets on sale from August 26th) and ‘Christmas wreath making’ on November 23rd (tickets on sale from September 23rd).

Our annual Eco Fair

Join us on Sunday 24th August for our annual Eco Fair.

There will once again be a range of wonderful stalls, including street food, an ice cream stand and our ever popular garden café.

Amongst the stall holders will be PackItIn zero waste products, Worcestershire Environmental Group, Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, RSPB, local artists selling original prints and cards, Bike Worcester, Jade’s fruit juices, local artists, Egyptian and Spanish street food.

There will be hourly site tours by our site guides, and we will also be selling fresh produce plus plants, jams, honey and chutneys from the sales kiosk on site. Please put the date in your diary. We look forward to welcoming you on the day.

Entry on the day is free.
