Children’s Seed Sowing Workshop
May 11 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
£10
Join us for a hands-on seed sowing adventure! Get ready for a fun and educational activity where children will learn the wonders of nature by sowing their very own seeds. Bring your little ones to the Worcester Community Gardens, where the children will learn all about the magic of seeds, the plant lifecycle, and how they grow from tiny beginnings into beautiful plants. Whether your child is an aspiring gardener or simply curious about where plants come from, this workshop is the perfect way to get them started!
During this hands-on session, children will discover where seeds come from and how they start to grow into plants. Each child will make paper pots and create their own mini garden by sowing seeds into pots. Both flower and vegetable seeds will be available. Children will leave with their planted seeds in hand ready to watch them grow and thrive at home!
The workshop will be 1.5 hours of hands-on learning and fun and suitable for children from 5 years of age. All materials provided including seed pots, soil, seeds, and more. There will be opportunities to walk around the gardens and see how magical seeds turn into plants.
The cost is £10 per child and you are welcome to bring your lunch and any drinks required. An adult family member is required to stay with the child / family group at all times.
Please bring a bag / box to transport your precious creations home.
Worcester Community Gardens are located at W3W:///nature.torch.grant.
